Officials at the Horizon Health Network are looking for input on how they can improve the patient experience.
The province’s largest regional health authority launched a new online engagement platform last week.
Let’s Talk Horizon allows people to contribute their feedback and share their stories and ideas, Horizon said in a news release.
“Gathering feedback from patients and communities is an important step to ensure our health care system is continuously improving and reflecting the needs of our population,” Margaret Melanson, interim president and CEO, said in the release.
Let’s Talk Horizon includes a Community Engagement forum, a Share Your Story section, and several Patient Experience Surveys.
Sara Jane Vermette, regional director of community engagement, said the platform allows them to hear from communities and citizens on a wide range of health and healthcare topics.
“We know New Brunswickers want to be involved in the planning and delivery of health care to ensure it meets our collective needs today, and in the future,” said Vermette.
Horizon said improving the overall patient experience is a key priority of its plan to ensure all New Brunswickers receive the quality of care they need.
