There will be temporary closures for the Emergency Department at Sackville Memorial Hospital over the holidays.
Horizon Health Network says it will be closed on December 24, and Christmas Day, as well as on January 1st.
This is due to a shortage of physician coverage.
The department will be open on all other days from 8 am to 4 pm.
Patients requiring medical care outside of these hours will need to seek treatment at another hospital or healthcare provider.
The Emergency Department at Horizon’s #Sackville Memorial Hospital will be closed, Saturday, Dec. 24 and Sunday, Dec. 25. They will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 26. For more information, visit: https://t.co/qQ49ztuUK9 pic.twitter.com/z1IjyNIvwk
