Gasoline, diesel and heating oil prices are all ending the year on a higher note.
Prices increased Thursday night after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.
Regular self-serve climbed 6.4 cents to a new maximum price of $1.58 per litre.
While diesel went up 5.2 cents and is now selling for a maximum of $2.14 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Meanwhile, heating oil is now selling for a maximum of $1.94, an increase of more than five cents.
The price of propane fell nearly a cent to a new maximum of $1.09 per litre.
Fuel prices are reset every Thursday night in New Brunswick.
