Our first storm of the week led to another round of late buses and school closures on Tuesday.
Buses in the Anglophone South School District were on a one-hour delay, though schools opened on time.
In Francophone South, schools in Bouctouche, Cap-Pelé, Cocagne, Dieppe, Grand-Barachois, Grand-DIgue, Memramcook, Moncton, Notre-Dame, Saint-Antoine, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent and Shediac are closed.
Schools in Saint John, Quispamsis, Fredericton, Oromocto, Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Richibucto, Rogersville, Baie-Sainte-Anne and Miramichi are open but buses were running one hour late.
The Anglophone East School District closed its schools in Sackville, Dorchester, Port Elgin, Hillsborough, Riverside-Albert and Shediac Cape.
Buses in the Shediac, Cap-Pelé and Cocagne areas were cancelled, while buses in Greater Moncton, Salisbury, Petitcodiac and Havelock were on a one-hour delay.
Schools buses in parts of the Anglophone West School District were also on a one-hour delay, including Canterbury, Nackawic, Burtts Corner, McAdam, Harvey, Greater Fredericton, Oromocto, Geary, Burton, Lincoln, Fredericton Junction, Chipman, Minto, Cambridge-Narrows and Gagetown.
According to numbers from Environment Canada, the Saint John Airport reported more than 14 centimetres of snow, while the Greater Moncton airport saw 36 centimetres.
Volunteer observers reported 32 centimetres in Hoyt, 19 centimetres in Sussex, 17 centimetres in Norton, and 13 centimetres in the St. Stephen area.
