Brett Kissel is already quite busy these days promoting the release of his new album, “The Compass Project”, out today, but that didn’t stop him from coming to the rescue in Charlottetown last night! The Bright Lights Music Series in Charlottetown, which honours front line workers on the island, were all set to have The Glorious Sons(Area 506 alumn) perform but the band had to cancel last minute. In what Brett Kissel described as “one of the craziest 12-24 hours he’s ever had”, he and a few other musicians hopped on a little plane and made it to the East Link Centre just in time to give the crowd a “semi-stripped down” concert!
CRAZIEST 12-24 HOURS I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED IN THIS BUSINESS!!!! PEI — we are going to celebrate all your Hometown Heroes, and then pour a celebratory drink as we announce the official release of THE COMPASS PROJECT – SOUTH ALBUM — out TONIGHT!!! pic.twitter.com/h4SwP1eiPb
