The 11th annual Love Your Hospital Radiothon on Country 94 and 97.3 The Wave was another huge success.
The 12-hour fundraiser raised $237,150 for the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation with donations still coming in.
“Your generosity will help the doctors and staff of New Brunswick Heart Centre in their critical work, saving lives every day!” the foundation said in a Facebook post.
The New Brunswick Heart Centre is the largest tertiary care facility for cardiac care in the province, serving patients from New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
As part of Tuesday’s radiothon, the Beaverbrook Canadian Foundation doubled all donations up to $100,000.
