WestJet has confirmed that effective April 30, it will no longer be offering flights between Toronto and the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport.
Spokesperson Denise Kenny says, “As WestJet furthers its commitments to our new strategic direction, we continue to adjust our schedule to focus on enhanced non-stop connectivity from Eastern to Western Canada, and sun and leisure destinations.”
The company says WestJet Encore flights between Moncton and Toronto are being removed from their schedule.
Kenny adds, “WestJet will commence new non-stop service from Moncton to both Calgary and Edmonton.”
Flights between now and April 29 will not be affected.
“We have provided our guests with as much advance notice as possible either directly, or through their travel agent. Impacted guests will be provided with the option of arranging alternative travel arrangements or a refund to their original form of payment,” Kenny stated.
