Some New Brunswickers will spend more to fill up their vehicle’s fuel tank while others will pay less.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board set new maximum fuel prices on Thursday night.
The maximum price for regular self-serve climbed just over two cents to $1.74 per litre.
Diesel prices, on the other hand, fell nearly 11 cents to a maximum of $1.77 per litre.
Most local gas stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
The price for a litre of heating oil fell nearly 10 cents to a maximum of $1.57 per litre.
Propane now costs a maximum of $1.07 per litre, an increase of one cent.
Fuel prices are reset every Thursday night in New Brunswick.
