As the Saint John River continues to rise, so does the number of communities dealing with flooding.
Hartland, Fredericton, Gagetown, Jemseg and Maugerville were above flood stage as of Thursday morning, according to River Watch.
The latest five-day forecast shows water levels declining in Maugerville and Fredericton. Water levels should be back below flood stage by Saturday in Maugerville and by Sunday in Fredericton.
Water levels in Gagetown and Jemseg are expected to increase slightly over the next day or so before holding steady and beginning to fall. Both communities are forecast to remain above flood stage through Tuesday.
No water level forecast was made available by River Watch for the Hartland area.
Meanwhile, water levels are expected to keep rising but remain below flood stage in Saint John, Oak Point, Hampton, Sheffield and Grand Lake.
More details about the five-day forecast can be found on the River Watch website.
So far, officials say there have been no reports of dwellings or buildings impacted by flooding.
There are, however, a number of road closures in the Fredericton area due to flooding. Road closure information can be found on the New Brunswick 511 website.
