Saint John police have made an arrest in the suspicious death of a woman nearly two years ago.
Courtney MacKenzie was found dead at a Victoria Street residence in the north end on May 11, 2021.
At the time, police said they were investigating indignity to a dead human body, adding that homicide had not been ruled out.

On Friday, police announced that a 34-year-old woman has been arrested for improperly interfering with human remains.
The woman, who police have not yet identified, was also arrested in connection with four other ongoing investigations.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in July and October, according to police.
A 36-year-old man was also arrested but later released without charges at this time.
