The Toronto Maple Leafs have won their first NHL playoff series in nearly two decades.
Toronto downed Tampa Bay 2-1 in overtime on Saturday night to take the series in six games.
It ends a 19-year drought for the Leafs, who had not won a playoff series since 2004.
John Tavares scored a 4:36 of overtime to give Toronto the win. Auston Matthews also had a second-period goal for the Leafs.
Toronto will face the winner of the Boston-Florida series in the second round. That series is tied at 3-3 with the deciding game set for Sunday night.
