Your next trip to the gas station is going to cost a bit less in New Brunswick.
Fuel prices dropped Thursday night when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board reset prices.
The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is $1.59 per litre, a drop of more than four cents.
It is the lowest price for gasoline in New Brunswick in nearly two months.
Diesel prices fell by half a cent to a new maximum price of $1.57 per litre, the lowest price since January 2022.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Meanwhile, the price of heating oil also fell by half a cent to a maximum price of $1.39 per litre. Propane is selling for $1.05 per litre, a drop of around three cents.
Just across the border in Amherst, N.S., regular self-serve is selling for between $1.48 and $1.51 per litre, while diesel costs between $1.37 and $1.39 per litre.
Fuel prices are reset every Thursday night in New Brunswick.
