Since The Band Perry’s If I Die Young came out 12 years ago, Kimberly Perry and her sibling bandmates have enjoyed unprecedented success… then disbanded. Now, Kimberly Perry is back after getting married in 2021, and this month, she announced that she’s pregnant with her first child!
About her biggest hit, she says, “I felt like the story wasn’t finished. There needed to be a sequel that talked about where my head is these days that now I’ve experienced so much life — I’m having a baby, I’m married, I’ve moved to Nashville; I’ve seen all of these dreams come true since writing the original version.”
If I Die Young (Pt. 2) is the first song off her five-song album Bloom, out on June 9!
This week we feature that new song, plus, our new Breakout Artist of the Month Blue Ridge Band with their new song Chasing Sunsets and album out May 19th!
ALSO, you can hear Jason Aldean’s new song Tough Crowd that he just performed at The 58th Annual ACM Awards AND Chase Rice’s new song inspired by an off-hand comment from PGA Champion Justin Thomas – “Boys, it’s a bad day to be a cold beer!”
