The Shediac Lobster Festival will be returning in early July and the nine-day event promises to be an exciting showcase of music, art, cuisine and culture.
The town released this year’s programming lineup on Monday.
Celebrating the iconic crustacean kicks off with festivities on Canada Day at Pascal Poirier Park in downtown Shediac with fireworks planned for later in the evening.
If you want to stay active, the 5K and 10K Claw Run is back for another edition where you can walk or run on July 2.
Foam Fiesta is a new, free event for children to play in the suds on July 3.
The whole family will enjoy carnival rides and games on the festival grounds as Campbell Amusements returns from July 5-9.
Talented musical acts such as Signal Hill and 1755 will be part of the concert lineup.
For tastings, try Corks and Claws which pairs lobster bites with excellent wines.
For a full meal, try the world record-breaking La Grande Table where hundreds will sit down for the famous and delicious lobster feast on Main Street on July 9.
