Saint John police say a man convicted of assault and forcible confinement is back in custody.
Clayton Ward turned himself in to police on Wednesday, the force said in a news release Thursday.
“He was arrested by the Saint John Police and held in custody,” said the release.
Ward was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
He had been residing at a community correctional centre in Saint John, according to police.
Ward is serving a sentence of 43 months for mischief, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, and failing to comply with conditions.
