A New Brunswick man has big plans for over 1.5 million dollars, after a win on an Atlantic Lottery casino game.
As a form of entertainment, Kelly Mountain of Grand Digue spends $50 a week playing on the alc.ca online casino.
Just one spin on the Powerbucks Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway with a bet of just 3 dollars…won him the progressive jackpot of $1,533,377.
While the reality of the win sank in quickly for Mountain, his loved ones had more trouble processing the big news.
“I called my father first and he didn’t think it was real,” Mountain said. “No one could believe it was legitimate until I explained that this was with Atlantic Lottery, not some
random app that you don’t know.”
Mountain wants to use the money for his family.
He’ll pay off some bills but then plans to do a few things on the bucket list, including taking them to Norway and Las Vegas.
