A 31-year-old Saint John man has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the homicide of a 26-year-old Dieppe man.
Mounties say he was arrested at a correctional facility in Renous on Wednesday, with assistance from federal correctional officials.
He is set to appear in a Moncton courtroom on Friday.
On June 25 around 10 p.m., Codiac RCMP responded to a report a man had been shot at a home on Louis Street in Dieppe.
When police arrived, a 26-year-old man was found inside suffering from gunshot wounds and he later died of his injuries in hospital.
The victim was later identified as Jacob Wright.
On June 26, police arrested a 29-year-old Saint John man and he was later charged with first degree murder.
On July 5, police arrested a 41-year-old Saint John man and he was also later charged with first degree murder.
Both men were remanded into custody.
Mounties say no further arrests are anticipated.
