New Brunswickers are coming together to help a Moncton family struck by tragedy.
Jamie Harris died while on the job at a construction site in Dieppe earlier this week.
Harris was an employee of Perfection Contracting, which took to social media to describe the loss.
“You will be missed and forever remembered for your hard work and dedication to the company,” said the post.

In the days since the incident, Perfection Contracting has launched an online fundraising campaign for Harris’ family.
They want to turn his dream of building a forever home for his fiancée, Melissa, and their two kids into a reality.
“We want to ensure that Melissa, who is now facing the immense challenge of raising their children alone, has a stable and secure place to raise their kids and build new memories,” said the GoFundMe campaign.
“Your contribution will not only honor Jamie’s memory but also provide a beacon of hope for his family’s future.”
According to the campaign, the money will cover costs such as land acquisition, construction materials, labour, and “ensuring the home is equipped with everything they need to start anew.”
As of Wednesday morning, more than $10,000 had been donated toward the campaign’s $100,000 goal.
