Emergency crews are on the scene of a six-car train derailment northeast of Sussex, according to rail officials.
CN said the derailment happened on Monday afternoon in a wooded area near the community of Dunsinane.
A spokesperson said four of the cars that derailed were carrying liquid petroleum gas.
“There are no injuries, fires, leaks, or spills and no danger to the public,” the company said in an email.
CN said the cause of the derailment is under investigation and crews are working to restore service.
Members of several local fire departments are reportedly among the first responders on the scene.
