Do not be surprised to see discoloured water in Saint John over the next day or so.
Saint John Water said temporary “minor” discolouration is possible due to repair work on a major water line.
Officials said the water is still safe to consume, adding it is expected to clear up over the next 12 to 24 hours.
Anyone experiencing discoloured water should take a few minutes to flush out the water in their plumbing by turning on the bathtub tap for about 15 minutes.
