If your property was damaged by storm surge along New Brunswick’s eastern coastline on January 10th, you can now report it.
This is an important part of provincial damage assessments and the recovery process.
Residents should take photos of the damage, and contact their insurance companies if they haven’t already.
Keep your receipts of any repairs or replacements.
You can call the Damage Report Line at 1-888-298-8555 or register online.
The Damage Report Line is available between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
Residents are reminded to:
- Contact their insurance companies immediately to report damage.
- Take photos of damage to their homes or properties.
- Keep receipts of any repairs and replacement purchases.
- Log the number of hours of work undertaken for residents who are cleaning their properties, or family members, or those who have assisted in the cleanup of their property.
The deadline for homeowners, small businesses, and not-for-profit organizations to report damages is March 15.
