New Brunswick’s premier is again speaking out about the carbon tax increase.
Blaine Higgs has requested the opportunity to speak before the federal Finance Committee this week, to make the case as to why the increase should be cancelled.
In a letter to MP Peter Fonseca, he says the planned 23 per cent increase will have a disastrous impact on New Brunswickers and Canadians.
He has asked to appear before the finance committee this week to make the case as to why the increase should be cancelled.
