Two people have died after separate crashes involving all-terrain vehicles in northern New Brunswick.
Mounties say a 17-year-old boy died after his ATV collided with a vehicle in the Campbellton area.
The crash happened along Restigouche Drive in Tide Head at around 8:50 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators believe the ATV passed a car travelling eastbound and then collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The driver and lone occupant of the ATV, who was from Campbellton, later died in the hospital from his injuries.
Police said the driver and two passengers in the car were not physically hurt.
Officers responded to a second crash between an ATV and an SUV on Route 11 in the Bathurst area around 11 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators believe the ATV was travelling in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with the SUV.
The lone person on the ATV, a 22-year-old man from Sainte-Louise, died at the scene. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was not physically hurt.
