Saint John police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery at an east side business.
Officers were called to a business in the 500 block of Westmorland Road just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
An employee reported seeing two men enter the business around 40 minutes earlier and filling carts with merchandise.
“As they attempted to leave without paying the victim intervened and one of the males allegedly presented a knife in a threatening manner,” police said in a news release.
The suspects left the scene in a grey Ford Fusion that did not have any license plates, according to investigations.
The first suspect was described as a shorter man wearing a black hat, a pair of black sunglasses, a black sweater, black shorts and black/green sneakers.
The second man was taller with a heavier build and was wearing a grey hat and a black jumpsuit.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area that has video footage of the incident.
