New Brunswickers can now use their public library card to check out a free day pass to a provincial park.
That’s according to the New Brunswick Public Library Service, which partnered with six out of 12 parks:
- Fundy Trail Provincial Park
- Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
- Mount Carleton Provincial Park
- Murray Beach Provincial Park
- New River Beach Provincial Park
- Parlee Beach Provincial Park
Officials say the supply of passes is limited. Only one pass can be issued per New Brunswick library card and will be valid for three days after it is issued.
This program runs until the fall.
