The union representing specialized New Brunswick health-care professionals have voted in favour of a new collective agreement with the province.
“As a government, we value the important work and the dedication of these specialized healthcare professionals,” Finance and Treasury Board Minister Ernie Steeves said in a news release Friday.
“I appreciate those that worked diligently to achieve this new collective agreement and am pleased that it has been officially ratified.”
The New Brunswick Union represents around 1,900 social workers, pharmacists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, dietitians and others working within regional health authorities and Medavie Health Services New Brunswick.
More information will be provided once the agreement is officially finalized.
