An Edmonton man now living in Moncton has been charged following a child luring investigation.
Codiac Regional RCMP began their investigation on Aug. 20 after receiving a report from another police agency.
“Through their investigation, police were able to identify an address and person of interest,” RCMP said in a news release on Thursday.
Police executed a search warrant on Sixth Street on Tuesday morning and arrested a 40-year-old man. Officers also seized several items, including digital evidence.
Justin Coulombe appeared in court later the same day and was charged with child luring by means of telecommunication communicated with a person under the age of 16 and breach of a prohibition order.
Coulombe He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on Friday.
Police said Coulombe used the display name “Ender Thunder” on TikTok and believe he may have also used additional social media platforms to communicate with other individuals.
