Mounties are looking for three people and a vehicle involved in an emergency alert in southeastern New Brunswick.
RCMP responded to a report of a shooting on Main Street in Salisbury at around 7 p.m. Monday.
They found a 48-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
RCMP issued an emergency alert at around 8:15 p.m. and later arrested two youths in connection with the incident.
One was released from custody on strict conditions and the other was remanded into custody on unrelated matters.
Investigators are now looking for three other people who were also believed to be involved in the incident.
Zander Jones, 18, from Blissville is described as being approximately five feet five inches tall, weighing about 99 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Olivia Cotton, 18, from Moncton is described as being approximately five feet six inches tall, weighing about 97 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
The third person is a female youth who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police also continue to search for a silver 2023 Ford F150 pickup truck, covered in mud, with a possible Nova Scotia licence plate HDC 958.
