Some big names from the Canadian music scene will be heading to Saint John this summer.
AREA 506 has unveiled the lineup for its 10th annual festival on the New Brunswick Day weekend.
Alexisonfire, Broken Social Scene and the Arkells will headline the three-day music event.
Other artists set to perform this year include Matt Mays, The Motorleague and Ria Mae.
“We are thrilled to be bringing incredible live music to the Saint John waterfront again this summer,” Founder Ray Gracewood said in a news release.
“And it’s a huge milestone to be doing it for the 10th year. The team has been working hard to put together an exciting, all-Canadian lineup to celebrate.”
In addition to the performances, the Waterfront Container Village will host a full program of family-friendly experiences including experiential activities, pop-ups and food trucks, in addition to the popular vendor market.
AREA 506 is offering a selection of general admission, VIP and pod-based ticketing options once again this year. Shows are open to all ages and those 12 and under get in for free when accompanied by an adult.
Gracewood said they also have a new payment plan feature this year, allowing music fans to break the cost of their experience up over time.
Festival passes are now on sale, including a limited number of early bird passes for $229, compared to the regular price of $249. VIP weekend passes are going for $499.
Single-day general admission and VIP tickets will be available beginning April 1.
The full festival lineup can be found on the AREA 506 website.
