A sketch of one of the suspects involved in the attempted abduction of a child in the Henderson Settlement area has now been obtained by RCMP.
Police say they are hoping the drawing will help identify one of the individuals involved.
Mounties said the incident happened on Route 710 in the Henderson Settlement area around 5:15 p.m. Monday.
Two people allegedly approached a child riding a bike and tried to lure them into their vehicle with candy.
Police said the child ran to a neighbouring house, and the vehicle fled toward Cambridge-Narrows.
It is described as a black four-door Subaru, possibly an Outback, with tinted windows, a sunroof and signs of rust on the front passenger bumper.
The passenger is described as a man, possibly in his mid-30s, with a muscular build, goatee with no moustache and curly hair. He was wearing blue sunglasses and a green t-shirt with yellow on it.
The driver is described as a woman with light-coloured shoulder-length curly hair.
Anyone who may have information is asked to contact Sussex RCMP at 506-433-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
