Saint John police are searching for two men and one woman in connection with an alleged theft where a senior was targeted.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred on June 2 at about 1:30 p.m. in a parking lot on the 140 block of Lansdowne Avenue.
Police say a woman approached the senior asking for directions to distract them while one of the men entered the victim’s vehicle and stole the senior’s wallet.
Officers have yet to confirm the suspects’ identities but have provided the following descriptions:
Suspect 1: A man, approximately 50 to 60 years old, with black hair and a grey goatee. He was wearing a black jacket with a Nike logo, light-coloured pants, black running shoes with white soles, black glasses, and a grey hat.
Suspect 2: A man, between 25 and 30 years old, wearing a tan camouflage zip-up hoodie, a black bucket hat with a white square logo, blue jeans, and white and blue sneakers.
Suspect 3: A woman, aged 25 to 35, with a medium build and long dark hair. She was wearing a long beige cardigan, black pants, a black hat with a white “N” logo, black sneakers, and carrying a light-coloured purse.
