The maximum price for regular self-serve should come down by up to six cents per litre.
The current maximum price is $1.47 per litre, though most stations are selling for a few cents less.
Diesel users will also see a break, with prices expected to drop by around two cents per litre.
The most you are currently paying for diesel in the province is also around $1.56 per litre.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.43 to $1.47 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.51 and $1.55 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.47 per litre, diesel costs around $1.60 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.14 per litre.
