We are in for a stretch of hot and humid weather across many areas of New Brunswick.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning for much of the province on Monday afternoon.
Daytime highs of 30°C to 33°C will feel more like 36 to 39 in many areas, with cooler temperatures along the immediate coast.
There will not be much relief at night either, according to the weather agency, with lows between 18°C and 20°C.
Environment Canada said the high heat and humidity are expected to last from Tuesday through Thursday.
Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
You can learn more about heat stroke and heat exhaustion, and ways to reduce your risk on Health Canada’s website.
