Air Show Atlantic is set to return to New Brunswick in August 2026, with Saint John Airport confirmed as the host site for the two-day event.
This will be the first time in a decade that the show has been held in the province, and the first time it will take place in Saint John.
The two-day show will include aerial performances, acrobatic flyovers and aircraft displays on the ground.
It is organized by the Nova Scotia International Air Show Association, a non-profit group that has produced air shows across the region since 1996.
Air Show Atlantic is the only annual air show held east of Montreal. It draws thousands of spectators each year and involves hundreds of volunteers.
The event is designed to appeal to both aviation enthusiasts and families, offering a mix of entertainment and educational experiences.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring Air Show Atlantic to New Brunswick and to host it right here at YSJ,” Lori Carle, manager of marketing and public relations for Saint John Airport, said in a statement.
“It’s a unique opportunity to showcase our airport, welcome visitors from across the region, and inspire the next generation of aviation lovers.”
The show has previously been held in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, following its move from 12-Wing Shearwater in 2004.
The 2026 edition will feature a mix of military and civilian aircraft, including tactical demonstrations, aerobatic stunts and static displays.
Organizers say the event is designed to appeal to aviation enthusiasts and families alike, with activities both in the air and on the ground.
Aircraft announcements are expected later this year and into early 2026.
Details on ticket sales, performer schedules and volunteer opportunities will be released in the months ahead.
