Mounties are investigating a break-in and theft at a commercial storage facility in Grand Bay-Westfield.
Three people and a vehicle were seen on video surveillance at the Highland Road site around 2:45 a.m. on July 8.
“The suspects gained entry by driving through the chain-link fence and cutting locks to the storage lockers,” RCMP said in a news release on Friday.
Among the items taken were three guitars (an electric Washburn, an electric Yamaha and an acoustic Dagas Pearl Dove), a Husqvarna chain saw, a large red toolbox, a DeWalt table saw, two DeWalt cordless drill, two Milwaukee cordless drill, a DeWalt air Nailer, two Milwaukee expansion tools and various other tools and building supplies.
One person was wearing a grey hoodie and black shorts, another was wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and rubber boots, and the third was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes. They also had a German Shepherd dog with them.
The vehicle appears to be a grey Dodge Caravan with damage on the back and on the passenger side. It had a New Brunswick licence plate GGP 086, but police said it does not match the vehicle.
