Pascan Aviation has introduced a new direct flight between Saint John and Québec City, marking its third route from Saint John Airport.
The airline’s latest addition is part of its ongoing effort to improve regional air access and respond to local travel demand.
Pascan has been refining its schedule and expanding destinations to better serve passengers in the region, according to Saint John Airport.
“Pascan has shown a genuine willingness to listen to our market,” Lori Carle, manager of marketing and public and corporate relations at Saint John Airport, said.
“By adjusting flight times and adding new destinations like Québec City, they’re proving they want to make regional air service work for Saint John — and for our passengers.”
The new route offers travellers a direct connection to Québec City, a destination known for its historic architecture, culinary scene and business opportunities.
Airport officials explained that the flight eliminates the need for lengthy drives or connecting flights, making travel more convenient for both leisure and business passengers.
With the addition of Québec City, Pascan now operates three direct routes from Saint John.
The airport is encouraging travellers to support regional air service, which plays a key role in maintaining connectivity between New Brunswick and the rest of Canada.
Saint John Airport has not publicly listed the other two destinations in this announcement, but confirmed that the Québec City route brings the total to three.
