The Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce is offering its condolences at word of the death of former Saint John developer Pat Rocca.
He died unexpectedly at the age of 74 while vacationing with his family in the Bahamas.
Before relocating from Saint John to Burlington, Ontario, Rocca was instrumental in the construction of Market Square, which opened in 1983 and took ten years to bring about, the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, the Regional Hospital, Brunswick Square, the McAllister Place mall, Prince Edward Square mall, Place 400 and Hilyard Place.
