A grade 8 student at Bessborough School is the winner of the Explore NB video contest.
Students from kindergarten to grade 11 were invited to create and submits their videos that highlighted all that New Brunswick has to offer.
It was sponsored by the Departments of Education and Early Childhood Development and Tourism, Heritage and Culture.
First place winner Natalie Dawson said she immediately wanted to enter when she heard about the contest.
“We planned out to go to my cottage so that we could do it. We decided that our whole day was going to be around the whole video. We went to all of the different places and I did two handstands, and then I edited it together so that it looked like I came out of a handstand in a different place.”
Dawson says her favourite place to visit is Parlee Beach.
Second place went to a grade 3 student Eva Oram from Hampton, and third to grade 2 student Claire McLaughlin from Bathurst.
