A reminder from Health Canada, for women who are using birth control to carefully check their packages after receiving them from the pharmacy.
If you notice anything in the package, such as missing or damaged pills, you should return them for replacement.
This comes after advisories were issued over the last few months that involved Alesse and Alysena pills that were broken or chipped.
Health Canada says taking a damaged pill or skipping a dosage could result in pregnancy.
