Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet this morning.
The move comes after Kings-Hants MP Scott Brison stepped down from his position as President of the Treasury Board.
Three cabinet ministers are switching portfolios.
Jane Philpott assumes Scott Brison’s former role as Treasury Board President as well as Minister of Digital Government.
Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Jody Wilson-Raybould moves to Veterans Affairs.
Seamus O’Regan vacates his Veteran’s Affairs post to head up Indigenous Services.
The two new faces are former Parliamentary Secretaries.
David Lametti is now Canada’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
The other newcomer is South Shore-St.Margaret’s MP Bernadette Jordan who becomes the new Minister of Rural Economic Development.
