The 100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John getting ready to make a local charity very happy just in time for Christmas.
At their last meeting back in September, they voted to support Project Roar who left with $24,000.
At tonight’s meeting, the women will hear presentations from three local charities who will each give 5-minute presentations.
The women vote and the winning organization leaves with a cheque.
Since its inception, the Saint John group has raised more than $527,000 for 22 charities.
18 different Women Who Care chapters exist in the Atlantic provinces.
The meeting starts at 530 p.m. tonight at the Lily Lake Pavilion.
